About this course

Many Muslims want to share the beauty of Islam—but where do you start? Should you debate, give long speeches, or memorize complex arguments? Do you need to be a scholar or an extrovert to invite others to Islam? The truth is, dawah isn’t about complexity—it’s about sincerity, wisdom, and connection.

With over 50 years of experience in the field, Shaykh Khalid Amin has dedicated his life to the art of dawah, drawing from both traditional knowledge and real-world encounters. In this course, he will teach you how to prepare, engage, and leave a lasting impact in your dawah efforts—whether in everyday encounters or structured settings.

Dawah is an art that anyone can learn. It’s the mission of the Prophets and the legacy of every believer. Join this course and equip yourself with the tools, confidence, and wisdom to invite others to Allah with sincerity and success.

About the Instructor

Khalid Amin, from Staten Island, NY, has traveled as far as India. Growing up during challenging times, he joined the Nation of Islam in his late teens before embracing the Sunnah in 1975 and spreading the message of Islam across the US and the Caribbean. He began studying Arabic with Sheikh Abdul Hamid, was granted a free Hajj by Muhammad Ali in 1979, and later attended Umm al-Qura University with guidance from Sheikh Abdullah Naseef. Now in Madinah with his family, he writes, translates, and teaches dawah, as detailed in Dawah: The Lost Art of the Call of Islam.

About the Book

This book offers a window into the lived experience of a dedicated Muslim, particularly in the practice of dawah—inviting others to a way of life he believes is best for mankind. Rather than focusing on theory, it highlights the practical aspects of Islam, including manners, etiquettes, and inner reflections, all of which contribute to finding peace in any circumstance. It also serves as a guide for those who wish to deepen their own peace and share it with others; an art which is needed more today than at most times in history.
